Whether you’re protecting what you drive, where you live, or who you love, my team and I are here to help make insurance feel more personal.

A little about me 👋

I’m originally from Muskegon, Michigan, and I’ve proudly called Washington home since 2016. I’m an active member of the Kent Chamber of Commerce, and I enjoy supporting the local community and small businesses that make Kent such a great place to live and work.

Outside the office, I’m a husband and proud dad of four daughters. We love exploring the outdoors, checking out local festivals, and experiencing everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I’m also into painting, jazz music, and podcasting. 🎨🎷🎙️

June Tip ☀️

June can be a good time to review coverage with seasonal changes in mind—such as more road trips, weekend driving, and unpredictable Northwest weather. Consider reviewing your auto, home/renters, and life coverage to see whether it still aligns with your situation. ✅

Common Insurance Q&A 💬

Here are a few questions we hear often:

1) “How do you determine my insurance rate?”

Rates are based on multiple factors, such as the type of coverage, location, vehicle/home details, driving history (auto), policy selections (deductibles/limits), and eligibility for available discounts.

2) “What should I do if I bought a new car or moved?”

It’s a good idea to update your policy when life changes. We can confirm the new vehicle details and any updated garaging/address information.

3) “What’s the difference between a deductible and what I pay?”

  • What you may pay is what you provide to keep your policy active.

  • Deductible is what you may pay out of pocket if you file a claim.

4) “Do I need renters insurance if I don’t own a home?”

Renters insurance can help protect personal belongings and may include liability coverage, depending on the policy.

5) “What does homeowners insurance typically cover?”

Homeowners insurance generally addresses the home structure and may include personal property and liability coverage, depending on your policy limits and selections.

6) “What does life insurance cover?”

Life insurance is for your loved ones. It helps to temporarily replace your income should you pass away. We can help you understand options and choose a plan that fits your goals.

7) “When should I review my coverage?”

Consider reviewing when you experience major life changes (moving, buying a car/home, marriage, new baby, renovations, starting a business) and periodically over time.

8) “What discounts are available?”

Discount eligibility varies, but may include factors such as bundling, safe driving, and other qualification requirements.

9) “How do claims work?”

If you need to file a claim, we can help explain the steps, what information may be needed, and how coverage can apply.

10) “What should I bring to our appointment?”

If available: current declarations pages, updated vehicle/home addresses, lienholder information (if applicable), and any notes on changes you want reflected.

Stop by or reach out anytime 📞
